The Moule group at UC Davis performs interdisciplinary research in the general area of Organic Electronics. More specifically we are interested in performing new types of measurements on these samples to expand the characterization tool kit for the community at large. Our current NSF funding is to develop Electron Tomography (ET) and Discrete Algebraic Reconstruction Technique (DART) for the measurement of polymer/nanoparticle photovoltaic layers. We also have DOE-BES funding to develop doping gradients in polymer layers and to measure the position, doping mechanism, and diffusion of dopants using Neutron Scattering Techniques.
This group is dedicated to the idea that Science is “fun” and accessable to everyone.
